CRIME ALERT

There have been several car break-ins around the Hillsborough Street, Avent
Ferry Road and Kaplan Drive areas. The suspects are looking in cars where
valuables have been left and breaking into the car. Please make your CAC
groups aware of these crimes. Please be vigilant and call 911 with any
information that made aid in locating these suspects. Also please advise
them to "Lock, Take & Hide" - lock cars, take the keys and hide belongings
out of sight. These are crimes of opportunity and if we eliminate the
opportunity we can eliminate the crime.

Dog waste bag dispensers are installed...

Hi neighbors,

As of yesterday, all 6 dog-waste baggie dispensers have been installed
in our neighborhood by the city of Raleigh (Rose Garden, Pollock Place
Park, Tower Street Park, Mayview Green, Gardner Street Trail (Fairall
Dr.), Isabella Canon Park). These will be re-filled periodically by the
UPHA. If you happen to notice any of them empty of bags, please feel
free to email the board, or me, and we will take care of restocking them.

Thanks,

Steve
